Lol. Thought this place would have good seafood... Service: Flagged down a server to take our order as our flight was coming up. Lady #1 was just talking story with another waitress.. She came up to the table and pointed to another server and said she was supposed to take our order and asked if it was ok if she ( lady #1 talking to us) took our order. lol. I politely replied, “It doesnt matter to us”. We ordered the Dungeness crab bisque and Rock Fish WrapFood: Dungeness crab bisque was cold. There was no crab in sight. The rockfish wrap was ok. Save your moolah. lol.
Waited 20 minutes for a table. That didn't get cleaned from prior patrons. Overpriced for the quality of food. Being in an airport they have no sense of urgency for customers.
Great crab chowder, salmon was good, included veggies. I guess I would have preferred something different than fries, but the fries where ok.
My server was great but I could see others were not happy. Food is ok. Wine selection decent. Order to go if you are worried about your flight.
I had no problems here. The bacon burger had such a rich flavor it was exactly what I needed. The man can make a mean old fashion. Worth every penny. If they ask for your ID even though you are old, look up state laws before you look like a jerk on a review. Alcohol restricted licenses have red stripes that bars have to look for.
We ordered the Kobe Burger, Salmon Platter, and split a bowl of crab bisque. The bisque & the hamburger were both good, but the salmon that I ordered was over cooked/dry and was served with cold veggies. (Not cold like coleslaw- just closer to room temperature..) The fish had obviously been left on the grill too long because pieces of meat had been torn out as it was scraped off. This was very disappointing because I always get excited to have salmon on the coast. The prices were high- but I'm not really knocking them because it's an airport restaurant. $53 for our food & 2 waters was pricey though, & when I basically sent back the salmon with 2 bites missing, it was definitely not worth it.In conclusion- there are a lot of food choices in this hotel. If it's next to your terminal & your looking for barfood/beer, go for it. Otherwise, your money will likely serve you better elsewhere.
Airport bar, but in spite of the prices, the service at the bar was awesome and the food was, too. You can do a lot worse in an airport setting, for sure. Be prepared to sit at the bar add the table area fills up - I've seen a line here many times as it's the only restaurant in the concourse.
It says crab, there’s no crab. $24 for 3 shrimp, 3 squid the size of a dime, and a fish smaller than your hand.
Okay - best of three current choices in Terminal S. Salad looked weary, crab portion small, burger okay, beer good, service very pleasant but prices high.
Not a great place. If you have time go to the main terminal for much better food. Food was not that fresh and not worth the money unless all you want is fried foods.
Beer was great. Food seems good quality but it was cold......hamburger was cold........😭😢
Service is good. Nothing fancy but the person was nice. My main issue is with food: Had a Salmon BLT salad. The food was really meuh. The sauce was just plain bad so I had to eat the salad dry, salmon is really overcooked and doesn't taste like salmon. Bacon was mainly a piece of cold fat.Ended up not eating most of it. Too bad for 20$.
Not amazeballs.Not terriballs.
The food was horrible. I paid too much money for this. My soup was cold and bland tasted like a generic can clam chowder. And my calamari was round generic circles that were equally bland and a cucumber wasabi sauce that tasted only of blended wasabi. I am disappointed.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Just awful food. Frozen TV dinner at Trader Joe's would be much better than the food served here. Go for a sandwich in Hudson instead.
I tired this place a couple of times. I would strongly suggest to stay away from it. Food is not good, some waiters are not nice at all. It does not seem very clean...they really need to do better.
It’s a great place to go for a beer for your international flight. The food is good, a little expensive but delicious. The fries are delicious and crisp.
Phenomenal breakfast. Very fast service. I think the bad reviews are from people that have never been in an airport. $12 for a huge breakfast and 10 for a bloody Mary is nothing to complain about, especially in an airport. My food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering and the place was filled with people. The veggie omelette is far above airport grade food. Joann was very responsive and did a great job.
Service extremely slow, prices are high for what you get. I ordered a Kobe beef burger medium, I got overcooked patty, but since I have plane to catch didn't bother to complain. Definitely not coming back
Bad food, taking advantage of the few choices people have to eat next to the international gate. Lettuce is old and yellow, fries are cold...shame from airport to allow this
Says it’s opened at 5am it’s now 6:34 and still not opened
Waited 45m for a stale bagel and lox. 16$ to build your own bagel and lox with stale bagels, a tiny/processed cream cheese pot, too many capers and half rotten onions. Don’t waste your time, go across the street. I feel so bad for the servers that work here.
Horrible customer service, they rather see you leave then have to serve you.
I’ve eaten here before and I don’t remember it being this good! Great cocktail and delicious noodles. I’ll come back when traveling via S gates. There was a wait to be seated but once seated it was reasonably fast.
Echoing what previous customers have said, service was sloppy (although well- intentioned), food overpriced and unhealthy. I’ve had worse restaurant experiences, but I wouldn’t come back here. Food portions need to be either bigger or more tasty and staff need to be more professional. I know some may be learning or tired but this place needs to up its game.
Fantastic Food & Service
I waited 45 minutes for a Rock-fish wrap, my plane was about to board in 10 minutes so I asked for the check without my food, I was given a mild apology, the waitress said "yeah it sucks here". I walked across to the cow burger place, they serve me in 5 minutes I ate and then boarded my 9 hr flight. Won't return.
The food and service were great. It's a great option for airport meals.
This place was not very good. Yes it was expensive, but everything else in that area of the airport was about the same price. The slaw that came with my sad burger was browning and wilted, the pickle was drying and bendy - my gut told me not to eat them. Fries were stale and cold. 'miso shrimp' noodle bowl was not seasoned at all, noodles were soggy and probably frozen, shrimp was bland. Our beers sat long enough before delivering them to us that the head on the beer collapsed, which isn't a huge deal, but a pet peeve..I hate to discourage going anywhere, but just grab anything anywhere else in the airport for a little less money and probably better quality food.
My simple advice, don't come. Worst food I've had ever. Bacon all burnt. Eggs are cold and tasted worse than those I had in high school. And who would put a straw like that in hot coffee? And service was HORRIBLE. Grab a sandwich and coffee across the hall will definitely be much more satisfying; and costs much less.
Out of nearly half the food and drink on the menu. Strange, bad, slow service.
The food was pretty good, though I was surprised that there weren't more Dungeness crab items on the menu; the crab Louie salad and crab cakes were the only crab dishes on the menu. The crab Louie was a little bit disappointing because the crab was finely shredded, no lumps of meat to be found. It was tasty though - the lettuce and salad parts were good. Overall, I would go here again next time I have a flight from the N terminal, but wouldn't make a special trip out there.
No bueno. Service was poor, long wait to order, serving the appetizer & main course at the same time, leaving my drinking glass empty, giving me a bill before I'm halfway done with the main course?Fish and chips like this would be acceptable in a land locked place like Nebraska, but this is Seattle the fish should be fresh and succulent without exception. This fish was the worst I had in Seattle and weighing in at over 20 bucks... this quality of food (even in an airport) is extortion.
Small portions of poor food, prepared with indifference. The service was ok, but overall it’s expensive for what you get.
1/ Over-priced2/ Rude waitress3/ Disorganised4/ Average food. Best to try options right opposite to it.
Saturdays they don’t open at 6:00am. Anticipate a later open since it’s going on 6:15am. Plan accordingly. It’s the only restaurant at the S gates. Also, back up plans for people calling in sick mean cross training your staff. The restaurant probably lost a lot of money within this hour. Saturday’s should be predicted to always be busy.
Waitress was great. The crab omelette was just ok. Seemed like the crab was only in half of the omelette. The bread and potatoes are chewy. Pricey for mediocre food. If you have time, I recommend that you find other restaurants at the other terminals.
This review is specifically for server Joe. Shaved head and glasses Joe is a kind, attentive and all around top notch server. My exceptionally average cesar salad was just that, but Joe is mr congeniality.Kurt
Good food. Terrible Service. And I mean, among top five worst restaurant service experiences I've had. Waitress treated us like stray dogs. Any request was met with an expression that looked like, "Oh god, you're going to make me get that for you?" When asked what we wanted, we asked for a moment and she laughed at us ('These bozos really need 3 minutes with the menu to know what they want?'). At the end, after not asking if we wanted separate checks, she laughed when we asked to each pay for our own meals, and shook her head. Then she gave us two checks with exactly half of everything: 1/2 of a chicken sandwich for example and half its associated cost, 1/2 of my seafood dish, etc. So we had identical reciepts. Third time was the charm, after many grouchy faces. Maybe she was having a bad day? I get it, but you don't need to make our day bad too when we're paying you for a service.
Not sure if I ate at the same place other reviewers did but we loved everything we had to eat her. The Ahi Poke, Dungeness Crab Bisque and Blackened Kobe Beef Burger were all delicious. Sure it was busy and the service may have been a little slow at first (it is an airport after all) but dang did the food make up for it. This particular location in the SeaTac Airport between gates S2 and S9.
Wow, very rude service. Expensive mediocre food..
This was the worst combination of atmosphere (too-loud music from bad speakers), service (Yindee was the only server working and she was trying, but needed help), and food quality (burnt bacon was just the beginning.) Perhaps they can thaw and warm seafood, but I wouldn't bet on it. 17 bucks for the breakfast plate and a drink was ridiculous.
The best sit down restuarant that I could find in the airport. I even took the tram to S gates to try it.I had a chowder which was tasty and a rockfish wrap that was good. I think if I make it back to this airport, I would give them another try and have something different
Service was good. The food was decent, but I was hungry and hunger is the best sauce.
Very bland cold food for $20. Would not recommend.
For an airport it’s pretty good and the service is friendly too. I especially liked the staff call button on the tables and wondered if I could take it with me and use it other countries. ;)
Restaurant is located near the S gate section. I wanted to have something light. That's why I went for the Dungeness crab bisque. It was great and filling. $10 is the price of the soup. Even though it's on the higher side, I believe it is fine considering the good quality. Place also had other dead food available. Place also had other non vegetarian options like Ceaser salad with chicken etc. Place also seeks drinks. Beers, etc. Place is normally full most of the time. This is the second time I am having food from this place and in both occasions the food quality was awesome. The ambience in the restaurant was great too. They had television screens inside playing some sports too. Waiters were also great and quick too.
Our server was such a nice gentleman. When we arrived he informed us that the area we sat ourselves in was closed. It was the only open table in the restaurant and he was obviously very busy but he told us to stay. Everyone of us liked our food and the service this guy gave us was 2nd to none. We had a 2.5 layover and traveling across the airport to eat was a great choice.
The Asian lady server was kind, funny and eager to help even though she was overwhelmed due to the fact that the place is packed. Seems the case every time I am at the airport in that concourse. I mean, coffee shop, a burger place, noodle, duty free shop, not a lot of choices, pretty much tried all of it over and over and sometimes you just go to all of them all at once. Although, this place a a more of a sit-down instead of a food court vibe. There were items that were already sold out/unavailable and she asked/requested the chef for other alternatives and made it happen! Kudos!
